Hello! My name is Huarda Valdes-Laribi
I am an independent Speech and Language Therapist
I specialise in helping neurodivergent people navigate the world of communication using a range of individualised approaches and tools through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. Whether your child is not speaking, having difficulties expressing their thoughts and understanding others, struggling with school or friendships, or if you are considering exploring autism, selective mutism or related areas for yourself or a loved one, I can offer a safe and collaborative space to explore the best options for support.
Services
Autism Assessments
I work alongside a Clinical Psychologist to offer private autism assessments to children, young people and adults. I also provide post-diagnostic / post-identification support for individuals, families and support networks.
Speech and Language Therapy
I support children, young people, adults, families and educational settings providing 1:1 sessions exploring a range of topics. I work online and in-person and I am based in York, UK.
Supervision, training and consultations
I can offer supervision to other professionals, bespoke training packages and consultations
